About Us

“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” —Proverb

BODHI believes that great education derives from curiosity and interest. BODHI Educational Guides assist students in creating goals and lead students to autodidact their education to form longer lasting and stronger bonds with the love of learning. It takes idealistic, compassionate, nurturing, patient, and caring individuals to help children reach their full potential. That is who we are and what we endeavor to do. Every child is different, learns differently, and deserves an education that feels uniquely theirs.

That is why we’ve created the Bodhi Community.

Bodhi Community K-12 is a Children’s Learning Community Center that is uniquely catered for each individual family’s
needs. Micro School, Homeschool, Clubs, and/or Camps are some options we have for you to choose from. The Micro
School serves families with children in K-8, while the rest serves families with children in K-12.

Your child will be taught in an environment that is safe, explorative, stress-free, respectful, and caring with passionate educators. Students will gain skills and knowledge that prepares them to move to the next grade level or beyond. Educators will help your child build the tools, drive and enthusiasm that makes learning fun and empowering.

Mission

At Bodhi Community K12, our mission is to empower and inspire the next generation of leaders by providing personalized education that nurtures the unique potential within every student. We are committed to ensuring that all students, enrolled at Bodhi, receive a holistic and tailored learning experience, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to become positive, contributing, and responsible members of society.

vision

At Bodhi Community K12, our vision is to revolutionize education by ensuring that every student’s unique needs and potential are not only recognized but also nurtured. We aspire to empower each learner to become a future leader, a positive contributing member of society, and a responsible global citizen. To achieve this, we are committed to expanding our reach, opening numerous locations to make access available to a broader population.

Values & Commitment

Individualized Learning

We believe that each student is unique, with distinct learning styles, strengths, and needs. We are dedicated to tailoring our educational approach to ensure that every student is nurtured and receives a personalized learning experience to maximize success. We aim to create an environment where students are inspired to become lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and compassionate leaders.

Holistic Development

Education extends beyond textbooks and exams. As an educational institution, we envision a future where our students, enriched by their diverse and holistic educational experience are equipped to tackle the complex challenges of the world with empathy, innovation, and resilience. They will be prepared not only for academic excellence but also for character development, ethical leadership, and the pursuit of their passions.

Future Leadership

At Bodhi Community, we are unwavering in our commitment to shaping future leaders who will not only excel academically but also make a positive and lasting impact on the world. We look forward to a future where the potential of every student is recognized and celebrated, and where homeschooling is a catalyst for transformative, individualized, and inclusive education. Together, we can build a better tomorrow through the power of personalized learning and responsible citizenship. We equip students with critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills to empower students to take initiative and collaborate to result a positive impact in society.

Responsible Citizenship

We are instilling a strong sense of responsibility and civic duty in our students to their communities and the planet. By nurturing social awareness, ethical values, environmental consciousness, and integrity, our students are prepared to be responsible, positive, and active members of society.

Key Tenets of Our Philosophy

1.Individualized Learning: We understand that every student is unique, with their own strengths, interests, and learning styles. Our educational philosophy centers on personal learning plans tailored to the specific needs and abilities of each student. We believe that customized instruction is the key to unlocking a student’s full potential.

2.Guided Socialization: While homeschooling often offers a high degree of flexibility, we recognize the importance of socialization. Our approach includes a structured environment where students come together to learn, share, and collaborate. We guide them in developing appropriate social skills, ensuring they have the tools to interact effectively in a diverse and interconnected world.

3.Academic Growth and Excellence: We are dedicated to academic rigor and excellence. The curriculum we are using is designed to fill in the student’s gap in knowledge, meet or exceed grade-level standards, challenging students to achieve their very best. We provide a strong educational foundation that prepares them for future academic pursuits or career aspirations.

4.Collaborative Learning: We promote a collaborative learning environment where students can work together, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful discussions. Collaboration not only enhances academic growth but also fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

5.Freedom and Flexibility: While we provide structure, we also provide freedom and flexibility. Students have the autonomy to set their own pace, explore interests, and make choices about their learning path. This encourages a sense of ownership and responsibility for their education.

6.Holistic Development: Education goes beyond academic achievement. We believe in the importance of holistic development, which includes nurturing emotional intelligence, physical well-being, and creativity. We strive to equip students with a well-rounded set of skills and abilities.

7.Life-Long Learning: Our aim is not just to prepare students for the present but to instill a love for life-long learning. We want our students to be curious, adaptable, and eager to continue their educational journey well beyond their time at our learning center.

School

At BODHI, we believe in community. We are interested in carrying pamphlets of local schools at our location.  If homeschooling and micro-schooling is not right for a family, we would like to do our best to point them in a direction that they are envisioning for their family.  If you are interested in dropping off pamphlets, please contact us.
